Meet The Chef
At the heart of Unique Fettuccine & Sandwiches is a chef whose journey is built on resilience, craftsmanship, and deep-rooted passion. Trained at the Culinary Arts Academy in Istanbul — a UK-based institution — he began his culinary path in the à la carte kitchen of Sheraton Istanbul. He later served as head chef at the Soleil Hotel in the coastal resort town of Kuşadası, creating refined dishes in a fast-paced, international setting. After relocating to the United States, he and his wife set out to open a restaurant — a dream that proved difficult in a new land. Undeterred, they poured their hearts into building a food truck from the ground up, driven by love and determination, and inspired by their young son, Arden Fahri Altun.
That same devotion is now served daily through a menu rooted in fresh, handmade pasta and layered with inventive, cross-cultural flavors. From fettuccine twirled in a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wheel to Italian-style quesadillas, loaded fries, and tantuni sandwich made with a Mexican twist, every dish reflects the chef’s fine-dining background and creative spirit. With every plate, he brings not only technique and quality, but also a personal story — one of courage, flavor, and family.
